If you had told me ten years ago that I’d be writing a blog about entrepreneurship, I probably would’ve laughed and asked if I could paint it instead.
Back then, I was hustling handmade art at weekend markets, juggling freelance gigs, and dreaming of a life that felt more like me. I didn’t have a business plan, I had a sketchbook full of ideas and just enough stubbornness to keep going when things got quiet.
Since then, I’ve built multiple creative ventures, mentored other women launching their own, and through all the pivots, kept my art practice alive. Not because it’s always easy, but because I believe deeply in building a life that reflects who you are, not just what the world expects.
This blog is a continuation of that journey.
Here, I’ll be sharing honest lessons from the trenches; what worked, what didn’t, and everything in between. You’ll find thoughts on creativity, strategy, burnout, branding, inspiration, failure, freedom, and the wild, beautiful path of doing your own thing.
You don’t have to have it all figured out to start. I certainly didn’t. You just have to be willing to take the first step—and maybe a few more after that.
If you’re navigating your own creative business, or dreaming of starting one, I hope this space feels like a little breath of fresh air and a reminder: you’re not alone.
Let’s build something real, together.
